KULA (कुल) noun — Sanskrit
1. Family; lineage; clan.
2. Community; tribe; social group.
— A collective bound by heritage, tradition, or common identity.
3. (In Tantric philosophy) The manifested universe; the body; the spiritual family of initiates.
— In Kaula and Śākta traditions, kula represents the unity of divine and human, the totality of existence.
